We've recently announced the launch of a new black masterbatch series made from postindustrial carbon black and recycled polymers. The new formulations are designed to help plastics producers meet sustainability targets across a wide variety of industries, while maintaining optimal performance. The new TECHBLAK™ 85 series includes formulations based on reclaimed carbons, postindustrial carbon black materials as well as recycled polymers tailored for compounding, injection molding and non-critical film applications for use in industrial, packaging and consumer markets.
View MoreOver recent years, the water conservation efforts at the Maua, Brazil plant developed a closed loop water system which now allows the plant to be considered a “dry plant” with no liquid effluent discharge to the environment. In addition, over the past decade, the Maua, Brazil plant team has focused on energy improvement efforts through the recovery of tail gas steam for energy, resulting in an increase of steam sales to other businesses, as well as an increase in power generation by the plant turbine.
